The image of “April in Paris” conjures up the reawakening of Spring after a long cold winter. Here in Ithaca, flowers bloom, birds sing, and the buzz of people embracing the warmer weather returns to Aurora Street.
On Saturday, April 30th, the Hound & Mare will transform into a Parisian Bistro, Le Chien de Chasse et Jument. Chef Scott Riesenberger, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, and worked under Michelin-starred chefs in Burgundy and the French Alps, has created an inspired menu of French cuisine that celebrates Spring in the Finger Lakes. Sommelier Laura Winter Falk will share carefully-curated wine from both France and the Finger Lakes that showcases the nuance of the cuisine and the locally-sourced ingredients from which it is created.
