Waterfalls, Wine, and Dinner
This late afternoon tour was perfect for our guests who just completed a business conference and wanted a special evening in Ithaca. It began with an interpretive gorge walk down the Buttermilk Falls gorge trail where they experienced beautiful waterfalls, sink-holes, spires, and troughs. Then we whisked them away for a private after-hours wine tasting at Ithaca’s own Six Mile Creek Vineyard, where they tasted their wonderful selection of wines and grape-based spirits. The tour continued with a pre-arranged lakeside dinner at Ithaca’s very popular Boatyard Grill and ended with transportation back to their hotel.
Interpretive Gorge Walk on the Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail
This tour was designed for a large group of international students whose host wanted to offer them a special way of experiencing the beauty of the Finger Lakes. We helped the host arrange coach transportation to Taughannock Falls State Park, where we provided the guests with an interpretive walk down the “large-group friendly” gorge trail. Each guest received special treats and amenities to round out their experience.
Touring, Tasting, and Dinner on the Cayuga Wine Trail
This tour was designed to cap-off a two-day inter-collegiate conference. The guests were first treated to fully guided, private wine tastings with carefully-chosen food pairings at Cayuga Ridge and Hosmer Wineries. Then they were taken to Sheldrake Point Vineyards for a private back-of-the-house vineyard and winery tour. After the tour, they were treated to a wine-tasting paired with artisanal cheese, and a lakeside dinner at the elegant Simply Red Bistro.
Conference Wine-Pairing Reception
A guided wine-pairing is the perfect way to give any conference reception a unique Finger Lakes flair. Our regional wine experts will provide informative descriptions of local wine and food pairings that show off the fabulous bounty of the region. The program consists of Finger Lakes wines paired with samples of local cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate. This event will share with guests the art and science behind creating fabulous wine pairings while treating them to a truly local experience.
Corporate Retreat Chef & Sommelier wine dinner
Hosted at unique and beautiful private dining spaces throughout the region, Chef Scott Riesenberger and Sommelier Laura Winter Falk team up for an elegant presentation of Finger Lakes food and wine over a globally inspired, multi-course meal of fine cuisine. This is an immersive evening that mixes delicious wine with engaging presentations upon delivering each course, and lots of opportunity for lively conversation with each other in between.

How many people can you accommodate?
We own and operate 7-passenger Mercedes Metris’ for small group outidings. For larger groups, we charter van, mini-bus, or motor coach transportation based on the size of your group.
Can we drink alcohol in your vehicles?
There is no drinking of alcohol on board any of our touring vans (or on any vehicle we use for our tours) as it detracts from the tasting experience at the wineries. We want to make sure that you appreciate the last stop on your tour as much as your first!
What if some guests in my group don’t drink alcohol?
If you have guests in your group who are unable to drink alcohol, on tours, winery partners provide non-alcoholic drink options so they can still participate in the tasting experience. We also create amazing excursions that are alcohol free, such as waterfall hikes, farm visits and boat cruises. For our food pairing experiences, your sommelier will create non-alcoholic elixirs that will be as enjoyable and impactful as the alcoholic offerings.
Do you need a deposit to hold my reservation?
We take a $500 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. 60 days before your tour 50% of the total cost of the contract minus the $500 deposit is due. 30 days before your tour the final payment is due.
Can my group pay individually or do we have to pay as 1 group?
For conference groups, we can either take individual reservations from conference attendees or the group organizer can reserve for the whole conference. Please note that we would still take a non-refundable $500 deposit. For corporate groups, we would prefer that the group organizer reserves for the whole group.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 31-day cancellation policy. If you want to receive a refund and anyone in your group needs to cancel or you want to cancel the entire reservation, we need to know by 5pm 31 days before you’re scheduled to tour. After that date, no refunds can be issued.
