Quick Details
Laura Winter Falk is traveling to Once Finger Lakes to host these immersive classes each week. Join her to learn more about the history of the Finger Lakes through wine and cider. We’ll talk about the key role that cider has played in the region’s history, the importance of traditional-method sparkling winemaking, how hybrids helped the industry survive and thrive post-prohibition, the vinifera revolution that catapulted the region to the world stage, as well as modern trends.
Each topic will be exemplified through a unique wine or cider from a benchmark producer. We’ll take our time to taste and discuss each wine and cider while enjoying a variety of house-made gourmet tartines showcasing local foods and chefs’ creations.
